Ep25Rachel

Anne: [00:00:00] Hi, I am Anne, and I'm Helen. And welcome to Metaphysical Street Smarts. What is Metaphysical Street Smarts? Helen

Helen: Physical is everything you can see with your human eye. You can see, touch, feel, taste as a human. Metaphysical. Is that what you cannot see? Wifi microwave energy. When you feel somebody staring at you, you can't really feel eyesight.

Helen: So metaphysical is that what you can't perceive with the human eye? Street smarts means let's take the woowoo, the energetic, the airy fairy, and add it to logic so that you can have a better experience of yourself. In this one.

Anne: As always, we invite you to take what blesses you and leave the rest. We're so glad you're here.

Anne: Let's jump in.

Helen: Hi, Helen. Hi, Anne. I'm so excited to be together [00:01:00] and listen and play and reach into probabilities and possibilities through our, through us together, our listeners and whoever sent us a question. But first, first, I always look forward to you. What was your cosmic nudge for this week?

Anne: So, uh oh, this week I got, I just wanted to chat a little bit more.

Anne: I think it got brought up maybe a few, a few podcasts ago. Um, and it's something that we spent a few hours. On at the retreat was the, I can't remember what it's called exactly, but the Council of Angels. What's that? Committee? Committee of Angels. And uh, I was wondering if we could talk about it, maybe do a little mini session on it, because.

Anne: I've been using it and it's so helpful and fun and I've kind of like [00:02:00] reorganized my committee a couple of times. And

Helen: did you get the book Jill Slater, I believe? No. Haven The Heavens. I haven't yet. Oh, it's, it's a great book to just have in your house, right? The energy, yeah. It's a short, easy read. And so basically I brought it into the retreat to, to help people, you know, get into more clarity, more alignment.

Helen: And, um, you know, in the retreat I was, my intention was to teach people, especially coming up in these, um, these times of so much change and the unknown, how to focus on the beliefs you prefer to choose. So this committee worksheet and her teaching is fabulous. It's you actually. Create a committee of angels and you name them and you call in for them and you write a mission statement, which, you know, I'm big on that.

Helen: And then you actually describe what angels under what categories you would [00:03:00] need and then what their jobs are. So by the time you do this committee worksheet and keep updating it as like you're doing with yours, um, you are, you have gotten your mind, your personality. Hopefully your soul self all united in one desire and focus at a new level of clarity.

Helen: So my, I have a travel angel committee and they are amazing. They're so awesome. And I have my sheet, I even have a photograph of it, and I have used the same committee forever. Sometimes, you know, sometimes I don't. I don't ask them when I'm just traveling close in town, but sometimes things will happen and I'll get somewhere or it just feels magical.

Helen: I'm like, oh my gosh, I forgot you guys are always with me, and you rock. And so the travel committee is very, it's a big committee [00:04:00] because there's so many things that make a trip more comfortable and more productive, efficient, and effective, and loving and wonderful.

Anne: So you have, um, I think maybe it kind of goes in layers.

Anne: There's like, you would kind of have your head of each committee, I'm assuming, and then, um, I. You've got one for travel and then that travel, everyone has their little jobs within the travel one, and then you probably have, you know, different categories there.

Helen: Yes. And I think at the retreat I read my retreat committee, um, marketing committee.

Helen: I'm sure I have a podcast committee I started with and. I, you know, I give 'em a heads up every once in a while. Not as often as maybe I could have. And so, yeah, pick a committee and or even share yours and break it down for the listeners. 'cause it's fabulous. And again, I highly recommend the book Hiring the [00:05:00] Heavens.

Anne: Yeah, we've brought it up a few times on here and I, oh, um. I, one didn't realize it was short 'cause I feel like I've got a long list of things that I'm reading.

Helen: But that's a book though, that even if you don't read it, just having that energy in your home is lovely.

Anne: Yeah. I'm gonna get it. Um, yeah, I think I've got mine right here.

Anne: Uh, right now my brain does not wanna remember

Helen: so any. Big complex event. I always hire a committee. Uh, the, the author, Jill Slater, she uses them for everything, which I think would be a wonderful way to go. I, I just am more into my what, why, how, how, and in that sometimes the how to would be to ask for divine help.

Helen: But for big events, I always ask for the Angels Committee because to me, angels represent energetic beings of light and love, and why wouldn't I want their help?

Anne: It just, it also, it again, makes it more [00:06:00] fun. I'm going through something difficult, um, or that I find challenging, and I get to call on even these different aspects of myself.

Anne: Uh, remembering that we're not separate, like the idea that I already have everything I need, I have the protection, the guidance, the, the connection to achieve what needs to be done. And it's so fun to get to kind of put a, a name to it and, and communicate with that aspect of whatever I'm needing to do. I think when I did it, I kind of did it on a.

Anne: I don't know. I didn't, maybe I didn't focus it enough. I don't think I realized, I think I kind of named my, like, main committees without

Helen: Did you give them job having a specific purpose? Descriptions? Yeah. Oh, well if you, if you gave them job descriptions, that is the purpose. And then [00:07:00] cohesively all the different departments or, you know, heads of each purpose would all come together to create one committee with one mission statement.

Helen: Does that help?

Anne: Yeah, so I guess the one that I did, it's kind of general, but I called it the Light Angel Committee, and the Light Angel Committee successfully guides and blesses me on my path to light the way for others like me with direction and gathering resources.

Helen: Oh, that's beautiful. I would just tweak your title, your name of your committee to my instead of the, yeah.

Helen: Okay. You get the, the name of the committee. And is that your mission statement, it sounds like, or is that mm-hmm.

Anne: Yeah.

Helen: And then who's on your committee?

Anne: Yeah, so I've got lots of, uh, I've got different names for them, but I have someone for intuitive divine mother guidance, playfulness in [00:08:00] mundane, identifies what's needed.

Anne: Gathers what's needed, plays with the flow of time tracking and adherence to linear time awareness of unseen gut check slash does this align awe and wonder, creativity and expression, patience and growth and goodness for my body.

Helen: And do you meet with them regularly and give them feedback about how things are going?

Anne: No, I, I think that. I can be more specific with this. And so I think it's where I'm gonna go with my committee. We're gonna do a little bit of a rehaul.

Helen: So think, think of this and you know, you kind of shorthanded, but you had a lot of meaning in everything you wrote. Mm-hmm. In shorthand. Um. And, and so think of this, if you really create this committee, whether you believe in angels or or not, and then you give it a mission statement, and then you really think of all the unseen [00:09:00] synchronicities and overlaps and connections, that would be a part of the highest outcome.

Helen: And then you spend time meeting and updating what's going well, where you see it in action. Can you imagine how aligned you would be? No, and this isn't new work. This is, uh, what, you know, businesses that do big projects that are complex, they have, they have project meetings and they assign different, they delegate different aspects of one big giant project or one big event to different groups of people.

Helen: Like I, I live near Houston, our rodeo in Houston every year. 80,000. That's 8 0, 0, 0 0. 80,000 volunteers. Wow. Yeah. Is that not incredible? That's insane. Volunteers. Yeah. Whoa. And so, and then there's employees too, right?

Anne: Right. So

Helen: can you imagine how many [00:10:00] committees, how many different groups, how many different mission statements or goals?

Helen: And then it all comes under rodeo. Houston Rodeo. Excuse me.

Anne: Mm-hmm.

Helen: So you're taking an idea that's used in business, um, commonly, and you're bringing it into getting clarity and the mind to the heart, working together with the unseen.

Anne: I also love like the holding staff meetings. And then the seventh step is celebrate your successes and just like really.

Anne: Uh, for, for people who may initially struggle to kind of congratulate or celebrate their own successes, to be able to have a little bit of a stepped back view of it. Like, let's celebrate everything we did together to get our goal accomplished here. And I just think it makes it [00:11:00] so fun. I love it to you. I love it.

Anne: Okay. Are we ready for our listener question?

Helen: Absolutely.

Anne: Okay. So this list listener question this week comes from Rachel and uh, her question is how do we ground ourselves as high intuitives? And I think with that, I would also add maybe for people, like what is a high intuitive. Um, and what would they maybe need to know if this was their first episode and first, uh, exposure?

Helen: Okay. And I think we did touch on this to some degree previously with, with somebody's question about intuition. Um, and so my friend Peggy Sue Skipper, love Peg, known her for, for a long time. She's one of the people who's very woo woo and also very grounded in business and professional. I love working with [00:12:00] her because she shows up on time.

Helen: She keeps her word. She's, uh, she's mostly grounded. We, we get to see her at one retreat, not grounded at the end, and yet, you know, she's somebody who mixes both worlds really well. So. She has great teachings and there is a free video on Are You a High Intuitive? There's some questions you can answer This video's free on my website, hel and ray.com and on PEGS website Loving Kindness.

Helen: We'll have to look it up and put it in the, the, um, notes there. Yep. And so I highly recommend this video. It's. It's un, it's maybe an hour and a half at the most. It might just be an hour, and it, it walks you through and teaches you, and then she teaches classes and intuition. So a high intuitive is someone who came in just like I have freckles.

Helen: They came in predestined to access and evolve through intuition skills, [00:13:00] unlike other people who, that's not their thing this time around. Right. And again, intuition is well known in in highly successful sec, highly successful business people. We call it gut instinct, whether it's trading in stock markets or knowing which movie to invest millions into produce.

Helen: People who are exceptionally successful are high intuitives because they somehow have a feeling place that's not always. Rational or logically understood of what to say yes to and what to say no to. So if you came in, again, check out the video, see if you're high intuitive. If you came in as a high intuitive, how do you ground in it?

Helen: Just like any other skill, get a good teacher, get a good practice, keep track. Build a relationship with this skill like you would with anything else, right? When I went to [00:14:00] art school. Uh, you know, the beginning practices were weren't always fun. They were tedious and repetitive, and yet anybody who starts a career in art or um, a passionate hobby in art has to start like a newbie and learn the basics.

Helen: Music. Gotta learn the scales. Gotta learn about how to take care of an instrument. Gotta learn, um, you know, common children songs before you move on to more complex things. And so whether you're a high intuitive or you're, or you want to parent, well go learn from people who have committed a lifetime to study and research so you don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Helen: Does that make sense?

Anne: Definitely makes sense.

Helen: So I would call grounded in high intuition means I have developed the skill at a human level. I know how to trust my body [00:15:00] as the instrument that intuition speaks through.

Anne: Trust in self

Helen: is what Well, no. Trust in your practice. Trust in the, that you can, you can replicate good results.

Helen: Like if you have a car and you take care of it, you change the oil, you check the air on the tires, you take care of it. You really trust that vehicle. Right. Um, my AC may go out, but I can call somebody to repair it and he always comes. I trust him. He's always been there for me. He trusts me 'cause I'm always grateful to him and pay him right away.

Helen: And so I pretty much trust the system of me having climate controlled house. But if I didn't have a good AC guy and I didn't really take care of, you know, things that I, I could be taking care of. It wouldn't be high priority. I wouldn't have as much faith in it. So to trust intuition is no different than trusting your skill in a hobby [00:16:00] or in your career.

Helen: I love to cook now that I don't have to, I, I got burned out on cooking when I was feeding a family and then. You know, the kids grew and then I had a few years off from cooking and now it's just fun to me 'cause I don't have to do it. So I totally trust that I can create food that tastes good because I do it all the time.

Helen: But do I trust today that I could whip out delicious food for say 15 people? No, I don't trust that today. 'cause I'm outta practice. I used to do that all the time when I, um, took care of kids. When I did childcare, school age, childcare, I could whip out snack or, you know, lunch or breakfast for, I don't know, 12 kids easily today.

Helen: Uh, that would be hard for me. Right. So how do you ground any skill? Practice, practice, practice.

Anne: Well, it's also, would you have all of the tools you needed to feed 15 people? Like would you have, you know, whether [00:17:00] or not you actually would, but would you have 15 sets of utensils? Would you have enough balls and plates and and containers to hold enough food for 15 people?

Anne: It totally, if you wanted to, you could go out and get

Helen: those and you could Right, but I couldn't go out and get the practice of putting all the food together at the same time. Hmm. And judging the timing, that is just a practice, right? Yeah. Like, like somebody who's really gifted, say at piano, if they were gonna perform, that would be a whole different level of just playing well when they felt like it.

Helen: Right. So it, the way things work on earth is the way everything works on earth. To ground something to feel confident and incoherence a steady resonance with confidence in any arena on earth. That always takes practice. Wallpaper's a great example. If you've ever tried to [00:18:00] wallpaper, oh my goodness. And then if you watch somebody who does it every day, they make it look so easy.

Anne: Yeah, wallpaper's a pain in the butt if you aren't used to it. And even then, I think sometimes things happen.

Helen: You know, if I, if I watched a baby for somebody and a toddler, I would really struggle. I'd be slow, I'd be confused. And yet when I did it every day, I was really good at it. Mm-hmm. Mostly, yeah.

Helen: Sometimes maybe not,

Anne: right. It just depends on what you know. What the goal is, what the, the phase of life that you're in being grounded as a high intuitive would probably look different as an, an active mother as you call them, versus, um, you know, someone who's just getting out of high school like it's, uh.[00:19:00]

Helen: Well, and it's, it's how, what are your perimeters for it? Is it a hobby? Is it a passing interest, or are you committed to it? So again, and I, I think I did share this before, you know, my, I trust my intuition when I'm teaching, when I'm coaching, when I'm tapping, when I'm channeling, when I'm in session with somebody.

Helen: I am a great instrument. For it to come through. And then when it's just me with Helen in my own personal life, ah, you know, sometimes I call somebody else, so help me figure this out. Right? Um, because I get a ton of practice because it is my career in this part of my life and in this incarnation it's, it's my career.

Helen: So I spend a lot of consistent time. Getting my personality out of the way and being of service as an instrument to the divine flowing through me. And then when I'm in normal, you know, human mode, I don't have as much practice with that connection or I haven't built the stamina at the [00:20:00] level, uh, where it's not funny yet.

Helen: Mm-hmm.

Anne: Uh, um, do you have a question for Rachel? Them?

Helen: Yes, I would say, Rachel, be sure that you define grounded for you, and then define high intuitive by your understanding, and then make sure it makes enough sense in your mind so that you could commit to it, and then that's how you would be living as a grounded high intuitive.

Helen: Clarity, clarity, clarity.

Anne: Awesome.

Helen: And Rachel, thank you for the question. We really appreciate it.

Anne: Yes, thank you, Rachel. Appreciate you putting that on the whiteboard at the retreat as well. So that's another, another one. Rachel will know who she is. Awesome. We just don't. But Okay. Thank you. Yes, thank you again.

Anne: We're so, uh, happy when you send us your questions. So thank you for doing that. And thank you, Helen, for being here [00:21:00] again. Again. My pleasure. Okay, we'll talk to you next week. Bye everyone. Bye.
