Anne: [00:00:00] Hi, I am Anne, and I'm Helen. And welcome to Metaphysical Street Smarts. What is Metaphysical Street Smarts? Helen
Helen: Physical is everything you can see with your human eye. You can see, touch, feel, taste as a human. Metaphysical. Is that what you cannot see? Wifi microwave energy. When you feel somebody staring at you, you can't really feel eyesight.
Helen: So metaphysical is that what you can't perceive with the human eye? Street smarts means let's take the woowoo, the energetic, the airy fairy, and add it to logic so that you can have a better experience of yourself. In this one.

Anne: Let's jump in.
Anne (2): Okay. Well, hi Helen.
Helen: Hi.
Anne (2): Hi. How's your week going? [00:01:00]
Helen: It's going good. Um, working on a new project. I'm gonna start tapping again, which I haven't done in a long time publicly, and gonna do it on Zoom. So that's a new experience for me with a group. And guess what I've decided with this? Um, it's a month series.
Helen: I've decided to tie it in to these awesome podcasts.
Anne: Yeah. Tell us more about that.
Helen: So a friend and I, were gonna just do some tapping as a gift to pay it forward. Um. And then we'll see if people are interested. We're gonna do three weeks free. Um, people can register and then we'll pull the taps out and put them on YouTube for people to benefit.
Helen: Like we wanna pay it forward and ripple it forward. Right? And of course, there's always so much more to these productions than you ever realize. So then we'll offer a fourth, um, session for $34. And again, we're tying the first three weeks into [00:02:00] our first three podcasts. So we have, so we have themes, and then the fourth, if people wanna join in.
Helen: For me as a teacher, I just love the deeper dive, you know, so we'll have tapping, we'll have teaching, we'll have interaction, and I'm just so excited about it and excited too that, you know, we invite everybody to re-listen to the podcast theme and then come for the tapping. And then on the fourth event, if people are interested, I wanna take us through some interactive worksheets and really anchor in.
Helen: So I'm very excited about that.
Anne: That's awesome. It's like a, an extra EFT study on, on the topic. It's fun that you can use the same topics too, 'cause we always wanna dive in deeper, so
Helen: that's great. Yes. And it, it's fun Looking back, I mean, this is episode
Anne: 40 40. Yeah.
Helen: Right. And I'm looking back at our intro.
Helen: Um, [00:03:00] podcast one and podcast episode two. Pretty exciting. So that's my big news. I'm very happy to just play in the contribution and see if it will build enough to, uh, pay for all the different moving parts to make it happen. And maybe it'll be a monthly series. I would like That
Anne: sounds awesome. I'm excited to see where it goes.
Helen: Me too. And a big thank you to you because I love the podcast themes and I love that you've always gathered that. And on that note, uh, what's your cosmic nudge today?
Anne: Yeah, so we don't really have a cosmic nudge for today. We're gonna do our, uh, meditation episode. Today we recorded a meditation on self-acceptance, and so that's prerecorded we'll.
Anne: Pop that in here along with some lovely music and just another week to, uh, let that [00:04:00] soak in while you meditate on it. So, um, these are some of my favorite episodes, I think.
Helen: Oh, the meditations. Yeah. Yeah. So if you were gonna have a nudge or a question on self-acceptance, what would it be?
Anne (2): Hmm.
Anne: Um.
Helen: Why is it so hard?
Anne: Yeah. Why is it a lifelong process? I mean, it's just a, let's see. I don't know that I have a question on it necessarily. I just know that I get it to a certain level and then I get to go through it all again at a higher level, and it's just the. The process, uh, it's never ending, and I'm glad. 'cause that means I'm alive.
Helen: Well, very good. Well, I think that's a beautiful comment on self-acceptance. Yes. And I hope the meditation is enjoyable for everyone.
Anne: Uh, thanks for doing that for us, [00:05:00] Helen. So, uh, without further ado, here is our meditation for today.
Helen: All right, so everyone, be sure you're not driving as you listen to this, and Ann and I invite you. To take a big breath and relax. Get as comfortable as you can. Shutting your eyes, softening the body, knowing there's really nothing for you to do for the next little while except listen to my voice and relax.
Helen: It's such a beautiful gift to the body. Choosing physical relaxation, [00:06:00] just imagining from the soles of your feet, all stress and tension, just releasing
Helen: the tops of your feet, your ankles, your shins and calves. Just letting stress just flow down, releasing all unneeded attention. Softening playfully, imagining the knees, the inside of the kneecaps, the back of the knee. This amazing joint and any tension held there, any trauma, just allowing it to flow down through the shins and calves and ankles and feet down through the soles, releasing back to Mother Earth to be recycled and the big muscles of the thighs, the [00:07:00] hamstrings.
Helen: The quads, and maybe even imagining the glutes, which are the strongest, largest muscles. Just letting it all go now, releasing all tension and stress, feeling the support of wherever you are, sitting or lying down, and knowing that your skeletal system will support you even as you release tension and stress tightness.
Helen: Holding on to things that you don't need for the next little while, and even allowing your lower abdomen in your lower back, bring your attention to your stomach. Is it soft, relaxed? And as you imagine your rib cage, your middle back, it's so miraculous, isn't it? The skeletal system, [00:08:00] safeguarding your internal organs and even the muscles around your rib cage, the muscles below the shoulder blades, and along the shoulder blades.
Helen: Just softening. Now, just imagining them relaxing. Even your sternum and bringing your attention to your shoulders and playfully imagining. That all tension on the trapezoids could just roll down through your shoulder, through your biceps and triceps, down, down, down through the elbow, through the forearm, almost feeling your arms as though they're lengthening, as they relax and let go of tension.
Helen: Taking just a second to appreciate. The intricate bones and the muscle [00:09:00] structures of the wrist and the miracle of your hands, all the many, many muscles and tendons and connective tissue, and the skeletal system that allows your hands to do so much work for you. What if you could just relax those hands lovingly appreciate them and really feel them softened?
Helen: And receive your loving attention, your gratitude for all they do for you, and even playfully imagining allowing your head from the top of your head, the back of your head, even your face. Could just soften and relax.
Helen: Checking the forehead, the brow, just relaxing now, and the big muscles of the jaw [00:10:00] just softening. You might even find. You want to swallow even the tongue relaxing the eyes, and in this very relaxed state, playfully, imagine with me now that from your beautiful, beautiful heart. Your heart center, your physical heart, and your heart chakra.
Helen: From there, there's a beautiful root system going down, down, down, down, all the way into Mother Earth, all the way down. And imagine that you would say, mother Earth, Gaia, beautiful Earth. Could I please align my energy centers with your energy centers, my meridians? With your [00:11:00] lay lines, could I connect to your beautiful crystalline core?
Helen: And as I invite more love into my own life, to my own being, I invite more light, more love into the being that you are as I connect to you. I request that you receive my gratitude for supplying everything I need for my physical existence in feeling strongly rooted, strongly supported. Imagine now beautiful golden light coming in through the crown, through the top of the head, down through the head, through the throat chakra, down through the high heart.
Helen: And into the heart center, and imagine that on your next inhale, this beautiful [00:12:00] golden light and beautiful green light from the earth. Come and join in the center of your earth torso spreading with each breath. Spreading through your entire body in this relaxed state
Helen: and feeling connected to both realms, the physical and the spiritual,
Helen: the body and the mind.
Helen: Doing as you listen to these words, through your imagination and fully being, as you slow down to listen and in this moment of being, even as you hear may be the big thunder of the planet [00:13:00] that I can hear as I speak into the microphone, the thunder. The rain, the sunlight, the night, the day, the waters that you have experienced visually are physically enjoying the mosquitoes that have bitten you and annoyed you.
Helen: The cool breeze that has comforted you, the rain that has nourished the grass and flowers and trees, or sometimes caused you to drive more slowly than you would prefer Mother Earth and all her diversity. Think of making peace with a planet that provides everything that supports your physical experience.
Helen: And she is diverse with the [00:14:00] beautiful flowers, the weeds that will run rampant. The night sky eclipses the tides that flow and change and shift. And really think of Mother Earth and make peace, accepting this planet that is your home. And now I invite you in this moment with your heart open and connected to the entire planet system, could you consider making peace with yourself?
Helen: Peace acceptance that would lead to a new ex experience and level of comfort and form peace acceptance, [00:15:00] even considering. Love and gratitude for the physical body. These funny, quirky bodies that change, that get hurt, sprains and bruises, even breaks that get be sick, and yet they heal these bodies that can be hungry or cold or tired, that can be enthusiastic and joyful and loving.
Helen: And laugh and cry and yawn, these amazing bodies. Could you imagine deeply, completely imagine loving, loving this body, this vehicle for your consciousness like Mother Earth, your body, and all its diversity. [00:16:00] It's chemistry, it's biology, all its systems, things that we don't even know about, supporting you so that you can have a life experience.
Helen: And now going even further, could you imagine accepting even more of yourself? The plane of existence. Since Mother Earth, the galaxy that we're in, the physical body that allows you expression and experience, and could you go deeper and intent, great peace with your personality. With your memories, with your quirks and your strengths and your weaknesses, could you imagine like Mother Earth, [00:17:00] that there is an ecosystem, an intricate weaving of all that you are.
Helen: And that without it all weaving and meshed together, evolving and changing and growing and holding on, going forward, and even remembering the past. Everything you've inherited, everything you've chosen, everything you've changed your mind on the things that you prefer and the things that you do not prefer.
Helen: Could you for just this moment lovingly accept peacefully, accept maybe even expanding into gratitude for the uniqueness? That makes you you.[00:18:00]
Helen: What would it be like to breathe in self-acceptance? To breathe out self-acceptance.
Helen: What would it be like to Intuit, to assume. To believe that you are a unique and beloved being a child of a loving source with ups and downs, mistakes, successes. Emotions that make sense and some that don't. Thoughts that run wild and thoughts that lead you to bless other lives in your own. Could you ingest this quiet moment?[00:19:00]
Helen: Imagine meeting the divine source of creation and saying thank you. Thank you for the gift that I am. Thank you for the diversity, the ability to grow and change, and evolve and forgive. Thank you for blessing me with the uniqueness of me so that I might choose my path in life. A path that is always deserving of self-acceptance, self acknowledgement, self-forgiveness, and self love.
Helen: Let me love myself. [00:20:00] In gratitude for the bigness, the diversity, the wholeness of life, and my ability to participate in it personally, individually, and impersonally. And collectively
Helen: I am. That I am, and everything I have ever judged is only ever an invitation for me to choose yet again. What I would prefer,
Helen: and I'm suggesting to you in this relaxed state, I'm suggesting to all aspects of your mind. To the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious, the super conscious that you would consider it normal, [00:21:00] a gift, a birthright, logically sensible. This idea, this concept, this experience of self-acceptance, there is nothing.
Helen: To not accept about you. Everything you want to change, you're invited to change, and yet without those things that you have realized, recognized, resisted, owning, you would not have the invitation. To evolve. You've never gotten anything wrong. You're only always consistently invited into growing your self-love and self-acceptance as you explore, Lord, your next success, your next [00:22:00] desire, your next intention, your next choice.
Helen: And playfully imagine that every cell in your body, even the spaces between the cells are radiating with self-love and self-acceptance right now.
Helen: Self-love and self-acceptance at a cellular level, at a DNA level, at a system level, at a skeletal level, at an organ level, at a chemistry, at a glandular level saying, yes, I accept all the many moving parts of my physicality. Things I don't even know how they miraculously keep me moving and living. And yes, I want to make peace.
Helen: Yes, I want to accept all the complexity of being me [00:23:00] so that I could choose. From a state of self-acceptance and self-love that which I desire next.
Helen: And now taking a big breath and playfully imagine that as you exhale, you're sending down your intention for an expanded state of self-acceptance. Down, down, down through the torso, through the legs, down through the feet, into Mother Earth. This is our symbol. This is our request for tangible evidence. A feeling of believing, of resonating in the energy of self-acceptance.
Helen: And one more big breath, and coming back, moving your fingers and your toes coming all the way [00:24:00] back. Opening your eyes all the way back. Feeling very good.
